Pueraria (KUDZU) Flower Combination
For Hangover

Chinese Herbal Extract for Tea to Prevent Hangovers

The Pueraria Flower Combination extract has had widespread use in China and East Asia for the past three or four hundred years. This combination is a formula called Ge Hua Jie Cheng Tang in Chinese. It is a combination of 14 different herbs which, when used together as a formula, specifically affect alcohol metabolism in the body. This formula includes Pueraria flower as well as Pueraria root.

This formula prevents the uncomfortable symptoms of alcohol poisoning commonly known as a hangover. Alcoholic drinks leave behind the discomfort of nausea, vomiting, headache, mental dullness, body aches and sensitivity to light and noise. This is because alcohol acts as a poison in the body.

The herbs in the formula act together, (synergistically), allowing the body to process the alcohol and expel the toxins rapidly through urination. It does not diminish the good feelings from alcohol ingestion, it just eliminates the bad ones.

The use of Pueraria (Kudzu) root is first documented in one of the earliest Chinese Materia Medica publications. Reported in 1993, Western scientific evidence has led researchers at the University of North Carolina and Harvard Medical School to an interesting conclusion regarding alcohol and Pueraria (Kudzu). They experimented with Pueraria and alcohol, and their effects on hamsters, rats and humans. The conluded that Pueraria dramatically reduces alcohol craving.

If taken for this purpose the Pueraria Flower Combination extract might offer people the option of reducing their alcohol craving if they desire to do so.

The Chinese tradition of herbal medicine dates back two to three thousand years. At that time the fathers of Chinese Medicine started documenting the use of single Chinese herbs and many herbs combined into formulas for treating all manner of illness. The Chinese tradition of accurate written documentation clearly established this ancient modality of health care. In all the time since then, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has continued to prove and reprove the effectiveness of herbal treatments for self-limiting conditions as well as serious physical ailments.

The formula is best taken twice: once before the first beverage, and then again after the last beverage has been enjoyed. If a large amount of alcohol is consumed, it may be necessary to take additional doses of the formula, both before and after drinking.

The most effective way to buy the Pueraria Flower Combination extract is in a standardized potency extract. This assures you that you have access to the same dosage of the formula each time you take it. This is a therapeutic potency which is the same way it is used by professionals.
