Zen Meditation with the
Princeton Area Zen Group

The Princeton Area Zen Group (www.princetonzengroup.org) meets most Sundays from 7 to 9 PM behind Holsome Teas to practice sitting meditation (zazen), followed by an informal gathering and discussion with light refreshment. Interviews with the teacher (dokusan) are possible most weeks. Beginner’s Night is held the first Sunday of each month and starts promptly at 6:30 PM. Yang Tai Chi Chuan

Beginners will learn the Simplified Yang Style, the standard Tai Chi form of China, which consists of only 24 forms but still gives the full benefits of any Tai Chi system. It helps eliminate stress, improve posture, rejuvenate the body, slow down the aging process and control weight.

Intermediate and advance student’s will have the opportunity to learn the Yang style long form, Tai Chi Sword, Pushing Hands, and more.

Pilates

Starting November 16 Wednesdays at noon to 1:15pm with Emily Abraham

It is relaxing, fun and strengthening…good for all back, neck and shoulder pain, lots of tummy work, and we work on posture and flexibility of all your joints and muscles!!

Emily teaches a holistic form of pilates exercise, based on breath and proper body form. The students in her class become stronger and eliminate physical pains associated with such chronic problems as low back weakness, shoulder instability, malalignment of the spine, or weak abdominals.
